Boat Trip

The 2 hour boat trip on Lake St Lucia takes place 3 times per day- early morning or late afternoon trips are the best. You will see crocodiles, hippo and birds at close range.

Cape Vidal

One of the last remaining unspoilt beaches on our coastline - snorkeling, deep sea fishing, whale and turtle watching - these require a booking and we will assist you. Pack a picnic lunch and spend a day on the beach.

iMfolozi / Hluhluwe Game Reserves

Spend a full day in the park. We provide a picnic breakfast and advise to help you to an early start. Sightseeing include white and black rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo, tiger, cheetah, deer, zebra, hippo, wild dog, warthog and many more - even the small five make themselves available. Self-drive, or let us arrange a tour in an open game drive vehicle.

A number of these are close to Marula Place - we will advise which is best at the time of your visit. We also provide a "township Tour" to bring you in touch with the real Africa.

Swimming/ Fishing on your Doorstep

Anstey's Beach has Blue Flag status. There is a restaurant on the beach should you not feel like cooking. Down Foreshore Drive (in front of the unit), is is another swimming spot ... Brighton Beach

Durban

Numerous museums, galleries and shows. A trip to uShaka Marine Word is a must - it has one of the biggest oceanariums in the world and lots of activities to enjoy while you are there. Two of the largest shopping centres in the Southern hemisphere are in Durban. Suncoast Casino is close by for you to tempt lady luck.

PS - The Durban International Airport is only 11 kilometres from Cocomo Palms!
